We are Jade and Nath, best friends, partners
in life and in business. Burrill Lake on the South
Coast is where we call home with our two cats.
We've been photographing and filming humans
and love stories for 8 years and we can honestly
say, we can't believe it's taken us to where we are today.
Heart and the Sea has now grown to a small
team of professional photographers and filmmakers
from Sydney to Ulladulla. It's been an amazing
journey and we can't wait to see where it's still leading us!
Why we do what we do...
We prioritise experience over everything we do! We’re not hired on your wedding day just to show up and take some good pictures in a field on sunset. We’re more than that! We want to be apart of your day and celebrate it with you. We want you to have an experience that feels real and genuine and we want you to walk away feeling awesome! Trust is were the magic happens and basically starts with you asking us to be your third wheel. So let’s capture what your heart feels, together!

Outside of photography, I spend my time relaxing by the river, enjoying the ocean, doing yoga, bushwalking, foraging, making and learning new things.
More than anything I love spending time with the people I love and my two cats Chito and Suga.
All of this has given me an appreciation for the simple things and connection with nature!

Nath
Living and growing up around the ocean and bush has always given me an appreciation for nature and the adventures it brings!
I love spending my free time surfing, skating, motor bike riding or hanging out in the bush.

I currently reside in Wollongong on the South Coast of New South Wales.
From a young age I’ve had a passion for surfing, music, the outdoors and new places, which has inspired me to travel the world. It is through these experiences, that photography has helped me see a much bigger picture.

I live in Wollongong, just south of Sydney, at the base of a big beautiful green mountain. You’ll find me anywhere you can connect with people and nature. I spend my time surfing, exploring through the mountains, fishing and sharing a warm coffee with my best friends.

I'm currently living in Thirroul, NSW. Having grown up in Camden, my involvement in and around the ocean has motivated my style and direction dramatically.
When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me surfing, hiking, climbing, diving. Pretty much anything outdoors!

I'm an adventurer, storyteller and a dreamer. Nature and curiosity of the outdoors has dictated my visual direction. Drawing inspiration from my roots - from the maritime East Coast of Canada, to British Columbia’s wild and vast west. I now reside on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney.

I'm currently living in Mollymook. Having grown up in Lake Tabourie on the South Coast and its relaxed style of living has had a strong dictation in my work. From a young age I've had a passion for documenting people and their talents.
