We asked Carla to share a little about her proposal, which by what we hear, was impressive and very well planned. “A surprise trip to Queenstown, New Zealand was apparently an easy task for Ben. From calling my boss and organising to put me on the roster, but in fact have my shifts covered by someone else, to getting my siblings to pack my bag while I was out of my bedroom… Very sneaky. In the early hours of the morning Ben, his mum and myself were in the car on our way to his brothers new apartment to unpack in Bondi… Or so I thought. Ben handed me papers (our flight details) and the next thing I saw when I looked up was the airport. We had a special weekend in Queenstown where my bestie and now sister-in-law met us and captured the moment of our proposal.”
We started our shoot on sandstone rocks over looking the crashing waves and deep blue ocean at Gordon’s Bay, Clovelly. As Carla and Ben walked hand-in-hand they excitingly told us of their proposal and wedding plans. With a golden sky and two good looking people in love we new we were going to capture a beautiful set of portraits. After shooting at Gordon’s Bay we then headed to calmer waters at Red Leaf Pools, Double Bay for a Ocean Session. A change
of cloths and we were in the water. A great wooden pontoon provided us with fun platform for some unique shots against pink pastel skies which only topped the evening off.
We think these guys are a pretty special couple and we are counting down the
days until their wedding.
They're amazing!!! Thank you so much!!! C&B
